Angela is originally from New Zealand and currently lives in London, UK.
She spent the majority of her career as an actress and singer, and turned to writing full time in 2016.
She graduated with a Master of Arts in Screenwriting from The London Film School in 2018.
Her screenplays have reached the Quarterfinals of the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting 2016, 2nd round of the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab 2016,
the Semifinals of the Final Draft Big Break Competition 2015 and Page International Screenwriting Awards 2014, and Quarterfinals of The Final Draft Big Break Competition 2014.
In her previous career as an actress and classically trained singer she was lucky enough to travel the world performing in musical theatre, plays, films, concerts and commercials. She gained a Diploma of Performing Arts from the University of Auckland and also attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. In 2006, Angela was one of only 30 singers worldwide to win a place at Yale University's Cabaret Conference, culminating in a solo performance at Yale's New Theatre.
Angela recently completed principal photography on her debut feature film as writer, director and lead actress, 'The New 22', currently in post-production in London.
